This is an illustration of Lafferty from Bruised Terrestrial ('the drawing-and-arting blog of Adam Moore / Laemeur'). At the blog site it is accompanied by some interesting comments from the illustrator, who is a Lafferty fan. The text in this 'saintly' portrait is from Lafferty's 1968 novel, Past Master. I think it's pretty dang cool.

Well now here's a queer coincidence! I just happened to be looking through some old computer advertisements online and came across this Data General ad; immediately upon seeing the photo I thought, hey, isn't that the photo used on the cover of Arrive at Easterwine? I did a Google image search for the book, clicked on the first picture that came up, and it took me to your blog where, to my surprise, I found myself staring at my own drawing. The internet is an amazing thing.

Ha, yeah, amazing connections happening all over the place there! That old computer add is surely the source for that Easterwine cover? I was just as pleased to randomly discover your illustration - thanks for doing it - I'm only to happy to re-post it. I did leave a comment on your post that I'd re-posted it here. Also, the first proper Lafferty scholar, Andrew Ferguson, also left a few interesting comments. (I think he probably found your post by following my link to your blog here.)
